Character learning in natives
I was questioned it this problem by Canadian friend.
So, this time is column article about how to study letters among native Asians.
Simply saying,
In Japan, and maybe China also study long long time.
From 6 years old to 18 years old, all Japanese learn much amount of characters.
Writing and testing, writing and testing,,,
Almost all Japanese take petite tests every week or some schools are every days.
Then, take exam by 2 to 3 months.
Character Certificates
And then,
Some people are voluntarily taking Character certificate.
The test is very famous for Japanese.
There is this test, so there is no spelling bee contest in Japan instead, maybe.
It has 7 to 1 rank.
2 rank is already evaluated to university or general level.
More than 2, Semi 1st rank and 1st rank characters are so rare encounter rate in common life.
Until here, probably you felt so difficult or low efficient language?
But if you knew 10-years-old rank characters all, you wouldn’t feel inconvenience in life of Japan.
Why efficent study few Kanji?
Because in China and Japan, many character pronunciation is obediently to the parts,
and characters meaning is also little speculated the parts.(Yeah, that’s why I’m writing this weblog)
So, If you wanted to study hard, you can know exponentially, more and more Asian culture and read the difficult book, or also read old books too .
But if you wanted to stay or trip in East Asia, it’s nearly no problem that you only learn few letters : )
It’s important to decide your aim, for efficient language learning.
Because in only fish related characters, there’re more than 100.
It’s definitely beter for taking time to learn other characters, except for sushi chef 😉
Thank you.

No problem 😀
The letter forms are little different.
I think 50 % are totally same, 40% are nearly same, 10 % are different.
However, The way to pronounce is completely different.
