Kanji of Tokyo Revengers

Ah! Maybe this character and this character come from Street Fighter.
I had this idea and wrote it down this time.

Hanagaki Takemichi(花垣 武道)
Hanagaki is a hedge of flowers.

The kanji Takemichi can also be read in another way: budou, which when called budou means martial arts. The character for bu武 is generated by ‘二, 矛, 止’ parts, meaning two, spear, stop. Therefore, it is often said from this character that the original form of martial arts is to stop a fight between two people.

We don’t know who told this anecdote or the true origins of the kanji, but either way, it is a fitting name for a strong man like him.

Sano Manjiro at the top(佐野 万次郎)
Sano is an occasionally seen surname. In Tochigi Prefecture, a prefecture near Tokyo, there is also a town called Sano City, famous for its ramen. I remember that in the manga, he ate ramen with Kisaki. (Probably not related at all, though.)

Manjiro is a name that looks a bit old-fashioned, but you may see it sometimes.
The character for man means ten thousand.
Man Ji Rou(万 次 郎)’s first part Man ji is same pronouciation of Manji(卍), so it goes his Manji kai.

卍 is buddhists good luck character.

Ryuguji Ken, Draken, the vice-general.(龍宮寺 堅)
Ryuguji, this surname is either fictional or very rare. It is reminiscent of Ryuguu, a legendary castle under the sea. Ken is a common name. Ken can be written in many different kanji, but his character means hard. By the way, Ken in Street Fighter means fist.

Baji Keisuke(場地 圭介)
The surname translates as field place. This is also an uncommon surname.
Keisuke is another common name. The character Kei sounds auspicious.

Mitsuya Takashi.(三ツ谷 隆)
Mitsutani translates as ‘three valleys’. The surname Mitsutani, without the ‘ツ’, is often seen. The reading is still the same.

Takashi is another name that is sometimes seen. Takashi can also be read with various kanji, but the character for 隆 in Mitsuya can be read differently as Ryu.
Yes, Ryu in Street Fighter is written as Ryu隆.

Draken and Takashi could be Ken and Ryu.
That is all 🙂
